Correction

Well, don't I feel silly. My mom emailed me with the same subject line as the title of this blog post. Turns out my dad did NOT trap and catch an alpaca. That may be illegal, I dunno. I don't even know if there are alpaca's in Missouri. :) He DID however catch an emu. Yes, I know...one's a bird, one's not. How did I get them mixed up? I don't know. Anyhow, it must've been an emu escaped from someone's farm or something and I will mention he did NO HARM to it. None, whatsoever. I think he just saw it day after day in the same area on his drive home from work and wondered if he COULD catch it. So, he did! Then he let it loose again. There. That's that.

Lol! I was really trying to understand why he would try to catch the alpaca.... ha ha it would be quite a feet to catch an emu though! Did he cover the head so i couldn't see him? I think those are really dangerous! Seriously the kick!

hahaha...so funny! And yes, they are very dangerous. We had people in our town that had an Emu farm. Glad to know he didn't break the law! Holly H

O man, you made me laugh out loud! and I needed it. That is tooooo funny. I saw emu's on dirty jobs and those things are dangerous. I did wonder if he ate the "alpaca". I though hey, I might have found a person with more of a red neck family than I!

Too funny! It amazes me what lengths we will go to "just to see if we can do it".... no matter how crazy it may be. Like I said, too funny! ~ Grace
